The cover of this journal shows the English royal coat of arms, in two opposite corners are the three lions synonymous with England next to them are five fleur de lis used in the French royal coat of arms. In 1340, Edward III laid claim to the throne of France, and thus adopted the adopted the royal arms of France alongside the royal arms of England, creating this quadrant design. This vintage journal is made of high-quality paper and has a red leather-bound front cover that features a brass metal clasp, locking the journal closed.
